rescuing from a puppy mill

We do not purchase the puppies, however we do take food and whatever the dogs they will not surrender need. We have taken Sun Sails to provide the dogs shade, deworming meds, vaccinations, insulated doghouses and we try to educate. We have provided medical treatment for the dogs, in some cases surgeries that they would never pay for themselves. 

These dogs need rescue as much as shelter dogs. There is little regulation for puppy mills and they are free to do what they want. If they want to kill a dog or puppy, they can do so. In some cases, they will sell the older puppies to Commercial Brokers who will sell them to research laboratories. 

They live a private lifestyle. We really do not know the extent of what happens to their dogs and puppies. The public will never see the true conditions that the dogs are housed in. 

The good thing is that these dogs and puppies are resilient. They thrive after they are rescued and live normal and happy lives with their new families.
